Portrait of Oscar Garcia, tattoo artist at Soul Kraft Ink

Resident artist · Owner / Head Artist

Oscar Garcia

  • Black & Gray Realism

Oscar Garcia is the heart and soul behind Soul Kraft Ink— the OG of it all and the master artist leading the vision. Tattooing since 1990, Oscar has spent decades perfecting his craft and turning ideas into lasting works of art on skin.

His journey began in New York City during a time when tattooing was still banned, building his reputation through passion, resilience, and pure dedication to the craft. From the underground days of tattooing in NYC, through the rise of social media and Instagram, to navigating the challenges of COVID and the ever-changing industry beyond, Oscar has continued to evolve with every generation of tattooing.

Known for his unique fusion of Chicano style, realism, and illustration, his work stands out through bold character, fine detail, and strong personality. Every piece he creates is built with intention—designed not just to look great, but to tell an authentic story that lasts a lifetime.

With decades of experience and a deep respect for the art of tattooing, Oscar brings both mastery and meaning to every session, making each tattoo a true reflection of the person wearing it.
